Tried & Tasted

Real food, real places, real reviews. From street stalls to iconic bites — here’s what we loved (and why).

Bombay Vada Pav – Anand Stall, Ville Parle

Dish Tried: Classic Vada Pav with Dry Garlic Chutney

It’s not just a snack — it’s emotion. One bite and you’re hit with the crunch of the golden-brown vada, followed by the zing of spicy chutney and that fluffy pav hugging it all. It’s messy, fiery, and addictive. The dry garlic chutney? A game-changer. Worth the queue, every time.

Lucknowi Biryani – Idris Biryani, Chowk

Dish Tried: Mutton Biryani

This isn’t your regular masala-heavy biryani. Lucknow does it different — light, fragrant, and elegant. Each grain of rice holds flavor from the slow-cooked mutton and saffron. The meat is tender, the aroma hypnotic. No raita, no gravy — this biryani doesn’t need any sidekick.

Hyderabadi Cheese Dosa – Ram Ki Bandi

Dish Tried: Cheese Dosa with Paneer Masala

A late-night legend in the city that never sleeps. This dosa is a crispy, buttery canvas loaded with molten cheese, paneer stuffing, and a spicy twist that Hyderabadis swear by. Best enjoyed at 3 AM with a bottle of cold Limca on the side!

Delhi Aloo Chaat – Chandni Chowk

Dish Tried: Spicy Aloo Chaat with Tamarind & Mint Chutney

Crunchy, tangy, spicy, and absolutely addictive. A true street-side masterpiece. The potatoes are crisp-fried, tossed with chaat masala, and drenched in sweet and sour chutneys. Add some fresh pomegranate, and it’s a flavor bomb straight from the heart of Dilli!
